Mångfald i driften av offentlig verksamhet - en förlegad modell

På 90-talet, när de stora privatiseringarna skedde under alliansens regeringstid, talades det om att det skulle vara så bra med många olika "utförare" - dvs. mångfald i driften. Det skulle finnas stora fördelar framför fortsatt "enfald", dvs. att enbart region/landsting eller kommuner stod för drift av vård, omsorg, skola och annan lagstadgad  och skattefinansierad verksamhet.
